Reef Paleoecology

Using past reef collapse to understand the future of our oceans

Picture

Welcome

My name is Dr. Anna Weiss. I am an Assistant Professor in the Kimbell School of Geosciences at Midwestern State University.

I am a paleontologist and carbonate sedimentologist interested in how corals and reef ecosystems respond to environmental and climate stress.

I am in the middle of updating this site but typically it contains information about my research, teaching and outreach. As I grow my lab, I will add information about that, too. If you are a student interested in doing undergraduate research or looking for a M.Sc. in Geosciences, please see my page on how to join the lab!
